Inbound Sales generates interest and qualifies leads with potential customers. We attract the interest of potential customers by touting the benefits and competitive superiority of Vonage products and services. We engage with customers to understand their interests and needs, working with them to define the right mix of Vonage products and services for their situation. The Sales Development Manager brings this to life by contributing to sales strategy development and decision-making and guiding the work of Inbound Sales supervisors and teams.

What you'll do

Inbound Sales Operations
• Provide leadership and direction for Inbound Lead Generation and Sales teams/reps
• Outsourced Vendor management
• Digital Marketing Lead Management processes and analysis
• Ensure the team meets established performance goals, including:
• Leads and Opportunities taken per day,
• Follow-up contacts and talk time,
• Ratio of opportunities to deals closed,
• Revenue generation and retention.
• Engage with customers to explain Vonage’s technical, industry and market position and benefits.
• Support onboarding and contract implementation by maintaining customer contact, answering billing and related questions and ensuring a smooth and successful transition to account management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on escalated and other issues.

Process Improvement
• Provide feedback and techniques to help improve team performance.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for department-wide process improvement.
• Communicate, implement and support process change initiatives as directed by management.

What you'll bring
• Understanding of Vonage products and services: UCaas, VoIP
• Previous outsourced management experience
• Track record in sales process management particularly relating to revenue growth and retention.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex product and service-related situations.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to:
• Manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
• Integrate trends, data and information into forecasts, plans, models and recommendations.

What's required for application
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline.
• Prior experience in a leadership role.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
