Sales & Customer Service Trainer for HR Consulting Firm (Consultative Approach)
We are a growing national HR Consulting firm looking for a dynamic trainer (individual or agency) to help our consultants transition from a reactive mindset to a proactive partnership model.
Our consulting team consists of high-level HR & Employment law subject matter experts who are excellent at delivery but hesitant when it comes to "business development." We want to empower them to grow our business through organic advocacy and proactive problem-solving, without ever making them feel like "salespeople."
The Mission: Shift the team’s mindset to see business growth as an extension of client service. We want our consultants to feel natural and confident in identifying unmet client needs and capturing the value they provide through referrals and public feedback.
Key Training Pillars:
- Learning to anticipate a client’s next challenge and suggesting solutions before they become crises.
- Developing a comfortable, authentic process for asking satisfied clients for introductions to other businesses.
- Integrating "The Ask" for Google reviews and testimonials into the project wrap-up or milestone process.
- Shifting from "answering questions" to "driving strategy," which naturally leads to expanded engagements and enhanced compensation for the consultant.
The Ideal Candidate:
- You have a strong backbone in Consulting Services. Experience specifically within the Human Resources sector (HRBP, HR Consulting, or PEO) is a significant advantage.
- You understand that for consultants, "Selling" is actually "Solving." You can teach growth strategies that feel ethical, professional, and authentic.
- Your tone is encouraging, sophisticated, and strategic.
