Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and overseeing OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Outreach Training, ensuring it is tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences and complies with Department of Labor (DOL) standards. Additionally, you will coordinate the issuance of OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certifications, support the implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS) across Army National Guard (ARNG) States, and conduct thorough assessments of ARNG Safety programs. Your expertise will also be crucial in developing and delivering specialized Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) training, including creating and analyzing training plans, course materials, and assessment instruments to enhance the effectiveness and compliance of safety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
OSHA Training Delivery: Prepare, deliver, and administer General Industry Outreach Training, ensuring that each session is tailored to the specific audience and compliant with DOL requirements.
Certification Coordination: Coordinate the issuance of OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour cards to students who have successfully completed the training programs.
Safety Management System (SMS) Support: Assist in the implementation of SMS initiatives across ARNG States, ensuring adherence to safety standards and practices.
Program Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of Army National Guard Safety programs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Training Development: Contribute to the development and delivery of other specialized SOH training courses, including the design and evaluation of training plans, course materials, and assessment tools.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Minimum of six years of relevant experience in occupational safety and health.
Successful completion of industry-required training courses through an OSHA Authorizing Training Organization (ATO).
Current OSHA authorization, with an update course completed within the past four years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aviation safety.
Experience serving on an accident investigation board.
US Military experience.
Masters degree in a related field.
