Rutgers - Business Solution Architect Summer Internship
Join Verizon as a Solutions Architect Intern to collaborate on digital transformation projects with Fortune 500 clients and develop expertise in Verizon’s technology solutions. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support Fortune 500 clients’ Digital Transformation journey. • Develop a strong foundation in Verizon’s technologies, solutions, and systems during a 10-week internship. • Attend training sessions and corporate partner/vendor presentations to build workforce skills. • Engage in internship projects including research, design tasks, and deliverable development. • Participate in internal and customer-facing meetings, discovery sessions, and strategic workshops. • Build presentations to support internship team and customer needs. • Present your project to executive leadership at internship conclusion. • Collaborate on a group project involving hypothetical customer use cases and solution proposals. • Participate in innovation projects and suggest new ideas and approaches. • Build a strong network within the Verizon ecosystem. About You What you'll need: • Expected degree completion between December 2026 and June 2027. • Ability to participate full-time in a 10-week hybrid internship from June 2026 to August 2026. • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship. • Willingness and ability to travel and relocate. • Ability to work independently and in teams. • Quick learner of emerging cloud/IT technologies and methodologies. • Previous technology-related internship experience preferred. • Proficiency with MS Suite and Google Suite productivity tools preferred. Compensation & Benefits • Base pay rate of $27.00 per hour. • Participation in Verizon’s 401(k) Savings Plan with dollar-for-dollar company match on the first 6% of contributions. • Holiday pay eligibility, as applicable.
