Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 4-6 Merchandisers/Order Replenishment Merchandisers to maintain merchandising standards, execute order replenishment, and drive sales growth in an assigned geographic territory
Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, maximizing profitability and building enduring relationships with customers based on trust and integrity
Develop and implement customer plans, including annual CMA's, strategic and tactical pricing plans, and promotional plans to drive sales growth
Evaluate outlet opportunities, collaboratively sell, and overcome customer objections to achieve sales targets
Propose innovative merchandising ideas, brands, packages, and equipment to satisfy customer and consumer needs, leveraging national and local marketing initiatives
Execute channel and customer promotions/programs, leveraging national brand ideas and consumer insights to drive increased consumer preference and customer activity
Train, evaluate, and develop a team of Merchandisers/ORMs, building merchandising team capabilities for future career advancement
Supervise daily sales and align merchandising/order replenishment activities through collaboration with Field Sales teams
Manage labor and OPEX merchandising budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a high school diploma required
3+ years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery sales required, with a proven track record of managing people and budgets
2+ years' experience supervising sales staff, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams
Packaged goods experience preferred, with some beverage experience an asset
Strong presence, persuasive presentation skills, and intermediate computer and database application skills
Ability to multitask, handling multiple customer accounts, with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product
Valid driver's license, driving record within MVR policy guidelines, and current vehicle liability insurance required
Bilingual ability preferred (Spanish)
