Job Summary As a Route Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 8-10 employee route drivers, utilizing company box trucks to ensure seamless delivery operations. You will serve as the primary communication liaison between our company and customers, providing solutions to delivery problems and resolving issues as needed. Your exceptional leadership skills, combined with your experience in dispatching, supervising drivers, or general supervision, will enable you to drive success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Manage overall delivery operations in the Greater Boston area, ensuring timely and efficient delivery experiences for customers Oversee a dynamic 5-day operation, with potential to expand to 6 days during peak periods Supervise a team of 8-10 employee route drivers, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure success Serve as primary communication liaison between company and customers, resolving issues and providing solutions as needed Inspect company vehicles on a routine basis, providing feedback on condition and maintenance Provide timely information to drivers on route as needed, ensuring seamless delivery operations Counsel and coach dispatchers and drivers, promoting a positive and productive work environment Assist drivers with day-to-day operations, including check-out and check-in of mobile devices Ensure compliance with operating contracts, state and local ordinances, payroll, and company policies and procedures Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in dispatching, supervising drivers, or general supervision Proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States Must be at least 25 years old Successfully pass MVR for the past 5 years and 9-panel drug screen Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent computer, verbal, written, and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fluid environment Friendly, courteous, and positive attitude, with ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Base salary compensation of $50,000, depending on qualifications Health care benefits Vision benefits through our health care program Dental benefits (PPO) Paid time off (PTO) $10,000 company-paid life insurance policy 401(k) available Direct deposit Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and growing company Collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages learning and innovation Comprehensive training and onboarding program to ensure success in the role Our Work Environment and Culture At PEI Ohio, we're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
