ROCKSTAR (Financial and Operations) Data Analyst Assistant

We are running a growing e-commerce business based in Germany with customers worldwide through different online stores due to the market needs, and offering our own produced fashionable quality products of two brands. Due to the increased workload, we are searching for a HIGHLY DETAILED ANALYST who could support us. Job description --------------- We are seeking a dynamic and exceptionally detail-oriented Financial and Operations Analyst to join our team. This role will be pivotal in supporting both the Operations Manager and the Financial Department by gathering and analyzing different financial data with precision and offering general administrative support across departments. The ideal candidate is analytical, well-organized, and able to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an experienced data analyst, who has tracking experiences in working with many sources and is a very detailed person. The person would be working closely with the management team, therefore soft skills such as verbal and written communication, and teamwork skills in dealing with affiliated departments are mandatory. The person who will join the team should be highly engaged, and self-motivated, and adapt the strategy to best serve the interests of our organization. The position is not meant for a start as a full-time job, but rather a few hours per day, with a high chance of increasing the workload. The person will be highly involved in different daily tasks. Responsibilities --------------- - Updating reports from different sources including but not limited to collecting, interpreting, and meticulously analyzing financial data, ensuring all reports are precise and provide actionable insights. - Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. - Assists in formulating internal controls - Supporting the formulation and implementation of financial control systems within the organization - Assist with both internal and external audits - Other tasks upon request Requirements --------------- - Previous experience as a Financial or data analyst, or any other similar role. - Desired experience in gathering data from Shopify for e-commerce business - Business management know-how. - Desired Financial background. - Strong computer skills and knowledge. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Highly organized and detail-oriented. - Excellent math skills. - Actively English knowledge is required (written and spoken) and German is desired, but not mandatory; - Results-oriented, reliable; - Problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Tech-savvy Working with us --------------------------- - Decentralised working - Work from anywhere, distribute team members all over the word - Open and Experimental culture - This is not a full-time position, it’s expected to be around 5-10 hours/week with a flexible schedule with a high potential of increasing the workload - Collaborative work environment where we encourage forward-thinking and welcome all ideas. - Opportunity to expand your knowledge in the e-commerce business.
