This role demands expertise in mechanical design, prototyping, structural analysis, and a fundamental understanding of robotic systems.
⢠Responsibilities
Design, prototype, and test mechanical components for robotic systems.
⢠Conduct structural analyses and simulations to validate mechanical designs.
⢠Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including software engineers, electronics specialists, and robotics integrators.
⢠Ensure all mechanical designs comply with safety standards, reliability requirements, and performance objectives.
⢠Continuously contribute to improving and optimizing existing robotic systems.
⢠Clearly document design processes, technical specifications, and testing outcomes.
⢠Oversee the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components to ensure adherence to design specifications.
⢠Identify and resolve mechanical issues during development, testing, and operational phases.
⢠Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting to guarantee system integration and functionality.
⢠Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
⢠Proven experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and assembly, specifically for robotics or automation systems.
⢠Strong proficiency with CAD software for detailed mechanical design and assembly modeling.
⢠Experience using structural analysis tools and methodologies (FEA, stress analysis).
⢠Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting mechanical design challenges.
⢠Exceptional collaborative skills, with effective communication across diverse teams.
⢠Desired Skills
Familiarity with robotic kinematics and dynamics.
⢠Experience with materials selection and fabrication techniques.
