Road Manager

Develops and maintains a system to evaluate the performance of... department units. Prepares and supervises department budget. Supervises the activities associated with subdivision plan review and construction or physical components. Coordinates the development and continuous updating of a four (4) year road program. Inspects or supervises the inspection of roads and bridges prior to projects over $25,000 and carefully notes the character and amount of work needed. Answers questions from contractors and public. Secure Right-of-Ways for road projects. Develops and maintains a management information system. Qualifications Possession of a certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer from the Mississippi State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers or A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and five (5) years professional experience in an administrative capacity related to the above-described duties. or A high school diploma with ten (10) years related experience and five (5) years professional experience in an administrative capacity related to the above-described duties.
