As the RN Triage nurse, you'll provide administrative support to our Wellness Primary Care Clinics. This will be a work from home position with periodic in-office meetings. Administration / Training: - Monitors / manages Clinic healthcare effectiveness data and information set (HEDIS) performance measures - Manages referrals; may manage some escalated referrals - Applies RN expertise to support Call Center triage process - Authorizes medication refills; serves as clinical expert for all subscription memberships - Assists with lab results reconciliation - Serves as a Case Manager - Supports occupational health initiatives - May manage / lead special offsite projects; works on assigned special clinical projects - Serves as CPR / BLS instructor in all H-E-B Regions - Manages quality control of training in all H-E-B Regions - Ensures clinical compliance and proficiency / consistency across H-E-B Regions (e.g., workflows, staff training and competencies, equipment calibration) - May collaborate to develop clinical processes and related training - Develops clinical SOPs and workflows as needed Patient Care: - Spends about 20% of time providing patient care and clinic support, as needed (e.g., offsite screenings, backfilling short-staffed clinics) - Provides comprehensive nursing care; provides a caring environment; responds to all requests personably and accurately; accommodates special requests when possible - Serves in RN on-call rotation What is your background? - Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree - 5+ years of experience - Current unrestricted RN license in Texas, or from a Nurse Licensure Compact state - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPR, etc. Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Corp Nurse with H-E-B Wellness Primary Care? - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills - Strong verbal / written / listening communication skills - Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills - Organization and time-management skills - Bi-lingual (English - Spanish) skills (preferred) - Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; adaptability; flexibility; attention to detail - Ability to work as key part of a team Can you... - Function in fast-paced office and clinic (when needed) environments - Work extended hours and rotating schedules; sit / stand / stoop for extended periods - Regularly lift up to 20 lbs - Travel statewide (up to 15%) 08-2023
