Under the supervision of the AVP or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs of the general medical/surgical patient. This position focuses primarily on the post-discharge calls made to patients to optimize their safety and quality outcomes. Additional functions to be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Requirements • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact license. • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred, or Associate Degree required with enrollment in a BSN program. • 1+ year of experience in an acute hospital setting. • BLS and ACLS required. • RN specialty certification preferred.
