RN Needed for Student Wellness & Care School-Based
Registered Nurse (RN) – School-Based | Up to $45/hr | Full-Time
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to support a Washington school for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time opportunity to deliver essential healthcare services to students in a rewarding and collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
• Location: Hoquiam, WA (approx. 50 miles west of Olympia, WA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full school day hours
• Pay Rate: Up to $45 per hour, based on experience
• Type: Onsite, W-2 contract
Responsibilities:
• Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Maintain up-to-date student health records
• Support students with chronic conditions and implement health plans
• Conduct health screenings and monitor immunization compliance
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as necessary
• Communicate effectively with staff, families, and community providers
Washington State Requirements:
• Active Washington RN license issued by the WA Department of Health
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Fingerprinting/background check required via OSPI
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
