RN Health Consultant for Goddard School of North Queen Anne
About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of North Queen Anne as an RN Health Consultant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a health consultant on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct health assessments and screenings for children enrolled in the program.
ā¢ Develop and implement health policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations.
ā¢ Provide guidance and support to staff on health-related issues and best practices.
ā¢ Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and promote wellness initiatives.
ā¢ Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students.
ā¢ Coordinate with local health agencies and resources to enhance health programs.
ā¢ Participate in training staff on health and safety protocols.
ā¢ Monitor and manage medication administration and health emergencies.
ā¢ This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be done remotely with occasional site visits.
Requirements:
ā¢ Current RN license in the state of Washington.
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or school health.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of child health and development principles.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
ā¢ Certification in CPR and First Aid.
ā¢ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
ā¢ Passion for promoting the health and well-being of children.
