Risk Compliance Specialist
## What you will do
Conduct risk assessments (including RCSAs) to identify, analyse, and document financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks across the business.
Maintain and enhance MoonPay’s Process, Risk & Control (PRC) Inventory, ensuring risks and controls are clearly documented and aligned to regulatory requirements.
Perform compliance testing and monitoring activities across Compliance and business functions, identifying control gaps and tracking remediation.
Support global regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring policies, procedures, and controls align with applicable laws and industry standards (including EU and other key jurisdictions).
Prepare clear, data-driven reporting and risk insights for senior leadership to support decision-making and governance oversight.
Stay informed on emerging crypto-related regulatory developments and evolving risk trends, proactively highlighting potential impacts to the business.
## What you will need
2+ years of experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance, ideally within fintech, financial services, or crypto.
Direct professional experience in cryptocurrency
Experience with risk and compliance requirements in various EU jurisdictions
Demonstrated ability to independently assess moderately complex risk and compliance scenarios and propose practical, scalable solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into effective controls.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
