For an IT services company working on scientific research projects, and part of an Open Source Community based in Rome and Milan, we are looking for a:








Sales Executive (with travel across Europe)








In practice, you will:





• Managing the full sales cycle entirely autonomously — from first contact to closing.


• Preparing detailed documentation for tenders, procurement and competitive procedures.


• Leading discovery calls, product explorations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.


• Proactively proposing outbound campaigns and business development actions.


• Maintaining impeccable CRM updates and accurate forecasting.


• Working hand-in-hand with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Technical Teams, and Partners.


• Representing the company at conferences, events, and client meetings — with extensive travel across Europe (essential).
Requisiti


• Master’s degree - ideally in Business, Management, Economics,


International Relations, or related fields



• Opening new markets


• Managing complex B2B institutional sales cycles


• Equipped with 3–5 years of experience in IT/Digital/SaaS sales


• Skilled in negotiation, presentations, relationship-building, and tender/proposal writing


• Comfortable dealing with procurement procedures and multi-stakeholder


discussions


• Organized and reliable in CRM usage and forecasting


• Fluent in English (at least level C1)


• Fully willing to travel extensively across Europe
