We deliver delight. As a review manager, you will be responsible for much more than simply managing a document review project. You will lead teams of five to 50 project-based attorney review team members. You should be obsessed with doing whatever it takes to delight your customers. You should not accept the status quo. Essential Roles and Responsibilities β€’ Manage document review projects end-to-end, including project planning, staffing, set-up, training, information technology, security, and project delivery. β€’ Advise customers on high-level substantive review workflows and strategy. β€’ Anticipate issues before they arise and provide solutions. β€’ Provide input for general management of projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, revenue projections, and operational processes and procedures. β€’ Ensure that reviews are completed on time and on budget, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency. β€’ Always look for opportunities to surprise and delight the customer at every touchpoint. β€’ Establish and follow systematic project communication among our customers, project teams, and Level Legal. β€’ Train teams on the substantive legal issues relevant to each project and on expectations for internal and external communications. β€’ Work alongside our recruiting team to identify and give feedback as needed for appropriate candidates for additional projects or advancement. β€’ Validate time entry and utilization at regular intervals throughout each day. β€’ Manage to gross profit margin goals through efficient use of resources. β€’ Provide daily reports, ensuring customers receive the most accurate information possible in an insightful, helpful format. β€’ Follow all Level Legal processes. β€’ Hold team members accountable for project deliverables. β€’ Collaborate across departments. β€’ Assist the business development team with new customer opportunities and identify additional opportunities with existing customers. β€’ Communicate proactively with customers alongside the business development team about project developments, challenges, and changes to ensure that any surprises are good surprises. β€’ Provide real-time coaching to team members. Minimum Education Requirements β€’ Juris Doctor degree required. Minimum Experience Requirements β€’ Must be an active US-licensed attorney in good standing with a US state bar. β€’ Two-plus years of experience managing complex document review projects in a review manager role. β€’ Five-plus years of experience with document review as an attorney in any capacity. β€’ Significant hands-on Relativity experience and knowledge. Advanced certifications are a plus. β€’ Possess the excellence reflex: the status quo is never enough. β€’ Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and drive. β€’ Excellent communication skills. β€’ Proven ability to handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities. β€’ Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated skills as a strong team player. β€’ Proven decision-making and judgment skills. β€’ Advanced problem-solving experience. β€’ Expert technical aptitude in various applications, including Microsoft and Relativity.
