We’re continually recognized as a ‘Top Children’s Hospital’ by The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital rating organization.FTE: .8, Shift: Day, Schedule: DayPosition SummaryThe Revenue Reconciliation (RR) Specialist is responsible for concurrent utilization management activities to a defined patient population. The RR Specialist is a link between the patient, health care team, Care manager, the organization and payors during the patient’s hospital stay. The RR Specialist facilitates optimal and accurate reimbursement through certification of healthcare record and completed chart documentation. As an excellent clinical practitioner the RR specialist is able to review and collect trends and aggregate the data for that population to ensure accurate billing and make available resources for the care team. This position requires independent work as well as cooperatively and collaboratively working with health care staff and management. Work situations require specialized knowledge, judgment and skill. The RR Specialist position requires organization and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures and programs. Work situations are frequently non-routine requiring analysis and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making. This position requires a services oriented, caring professional individual with flexibility, self-direction, motivation, organization and willingness to work across all boundaries. Critical decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Director. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $26.30 - $37.84 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
