About the Role We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Stocker - Part-Time, also known as a Sales Merchandiser, to join our Sales Team. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising products on designated routes, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing superior customer service. This is a part-time role with a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits and perks. Key Responsibilities Safely transport products between the backroom and display floor. Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves according to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards. Ensure on-time arrival at all customer locations to perform merchandising duties. Operate manual and powered handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks. Maintain and organize Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country stock as needed. Ensure a neat appearance of all equipment and products in assigned accounts. Maintain clean and organized back-rooms and manage trade breakage. Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities. Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for accounts. Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced. Perform required vehicle checks according to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures. Essential Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 years of general work experience preferred. Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus. Customer service experience preferred. Skills and Competencies Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck. Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks. Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country guidelines. Excellent customer service skills. Adaptability and ability to adapt to change in the workplace. Business Acumen and ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Decision-making skills and willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices. Enthusiasm and energy to tackle day-to-day and long-term tasks and plans. Sound judgment and willingness to make timely decisions. Planning and organizing skills to prioritize and plan work activities. Reliability and regular attendance. Commitment to quality management and safety. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminals. Must be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) None required. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation. Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10% and attend out-of-town training and/or seminars. Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays.
