Job Summary: Retail Operations Associate As a Retail Operations Associate, you'll serve as a key point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, and performing various duties to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Warmly welcome and assist customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide accurate information about products and services. Operate the Cash Register: Use the cash register and scanner to list and total customer purchases, handle payments, provide accurate change, and pack items. Merchandise Management: Unbox products, oversee stock management, replenish shelves, and create visually appealing product displays. Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean and organized by disposing of trash, dusting surfaces, mopping floors, and scrubbing the restroom and receiving area. Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, drive customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store environment. Requirements & Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in a related field is preferred. Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management. Safety Awareness: Awareness of safety policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in daily operations. Basic Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills, including handling cash, operating the cash register, and managing inventory. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling. Preferred Qualifications: Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, particularly in a customer-facing role, is highly preferred. Cash Handling Experience: Experience handling cash, operating a cash register, and managing inventory. Leadership Skills: Leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
