The team partners closely with customers in the Mass & Club segment to deliver highâquality coffee experiences to consumers through bestâinâclass execution, operational excellence, and strong customer collaboration. The team works crossâfunctionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver business goals and elevate Lavazzaâs presence at retail.
The Retail Account Coordinator supports the Retail Sales teamâspecifically within the Mass & Club channelâby executing critical operational, administrative, and customerâfacing tasks that ensure smooth account management and sales execution. This role collaborates daily with the Director of Retail â Mass & Club and crossâfunctional partners to manage item setup, maintain online presence, track orders, and support customer initiatives. The Coordinator helps ensure accuracy across systems, supports retail activation, and contributes to the overall achievement of channel targets.
Location: Remote U.S. - must be able to support core East Coast working hours
#LI-AH1JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Director of Retail â Mass & Club with account planning, reporting, and follow-up actions.
Manage item setup, item maintenance, pricing forms, new product submissions, and new customer onboarding across retailer portals and internal systems.
Maintain accurate and upâtoâdate Lavazza product presence across customer and trade eâcommerce websites.
Utilize syndicated and retailerâspecific data platforms to support performance tracking and business insights.
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to monitor order flow, resolve shipment issues, and ensure onâtime delivery.
Prepare materials for trade shows and support onâsite Home Team activities.
Maintain retailer scorecards, promotional calendars, and customer-related documentation.
Support execution of retail promotions, merchandising initiatives, and store resets.
Investigate deductions, track invoices, and partner with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
Compile weekly and monthly reports summarizing account performance, distribution updates, and competitive insights.
Support administrative tasks such as meeting scheduling, sample ordering, contract tracking, and document management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; or equivalent applicable experience.
3+ years of experience in sales support, account coordination, merchandising, operations, or related CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) functions.
Demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance).
Experience supporting sales management processes and applying solutionâselling approaches to address customer needs.
Ability to identify business opportunities, analyze supporting data, structure insights, and deliver presentations that influence internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage data accuracy, reporting, and item setup processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Strong planning capabilities, including the ability to forecast, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
Ability to travel up to 20% for activities such as sales meetings and trade shows / activations
