About the position

Responsibilities
• Initiate consultation episodes by collecting patient information and service requests.
• Arrange telephone or electronic consultations with designated professionals.
• Guide the consultation process, ensuring all pre-consult materials are complete.
• Score self-report instruments and assist in arranging appointments for consultations.
• Enter data from each contact with primary care providers into a secure database.
• Coordinate and schedule registration meetings with external stakeholders.
• Conduct outreach to advocate for the program in the community.
• Serve as a resource for external stakeholders regarding consultation services.
• Assist in organizing meetings, events, and activities, including taking meeting minutes.
• Develop daily operation procedures and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the program manager and leadership team.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in biological science, nutrition, nursing, health, human services, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office or related environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Knowledge of medical office operations and healthcare systems.
• Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical systems.

Nice-to-haves
• Certified Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience working with students, staff, and faculty in higher education.
• Familiarity with Google documents and the RedCAP database system.
• Referral management experience.
