Position at a Glance Position: Resort Sales Associate, Disney Central - Full Time Location: Tampa, FL (with remote work options) Start Date: Immediate openings available Compensation: Competitive salary with performance incentives Company: The Walt Disney Company Job Summary As a Resort Sales Associate at Disney Central, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive information about the Walt Disney World Resort to guests, utilizing numerous software applications. You will engage with guests, exploring their desired vacation experiences, and provide recommendations and direction for a magical vacation experience at Walt Disney World. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-volume inbound contact center and be part of a team that makes magic happen every day. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive information about the Walt Disney World Resort using numerous software applications Deliver exceptional guest service, resolving problems and finding solutions with guests and cast members Engage with guests, exploring their desired vacation experiences, and provide recommendations and direction for a magical vacation experience at Walt Disney World Build and manage relationships with guests and cast members from all lines of business to provide excellent service Meet required departmental metric expectations, including efficiency goals Creatively find solutions to guests' requests to enhance their vacation experience Maintain discretion and guest confidentiality Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned Be flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications One (1) year of sales and service experience in a high-volume environment Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations Computer proficiency within a Microsoft Windows environment Capacity to handle conflict resolution and make decisions through a sensitive balance of integrity and partner resourcing Ability to navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications Good judgment and decision-making skills Passion and knowledge of Disney products Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of travel agency or contact center experience Sales and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections Bilingual Education High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary, with a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and the opportunity for higher pay based on experience. Additionally, you will have the ability to earn performance incentives ranging from an average of $2.50 to $7.50 per hour.
