Residential Processing Specialist

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp is offering a new opportunity for a Residential Processing Specialist to join their hybrid team. The role involves processing residential loan applications from origination to closing while working closely with borrowers, lenders, and vendors. Responsibilities Responsible for communicating with customers, lenders and third parties during the processing of each loan application to ensure timely completion of loan files Receives loan application from Mortgage Loan Officer and verifies data for completeness and accuracy Works with borrower for any supporting documentation required Orders appraisal, legal, flood certifications and verification of employment, if applicable Reviews credit report to ensure any fraud alerts or address discrepancies are noted Verify that all documentation received is accurate, complete and matches the system Verify funds are sufficient for closing using deposit statements or gift letter Prepares file for closing once all documentation is received and cleared by underwriting Skills Strong customer service skills Strong communication skills Strong multi-tasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Strong organization skills Computer experience with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF Ability to work in a fast-paced office with high volume at times Six to twelve months of mortgage loan processing experience Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K (with Company match) Paid time off Paid parental leave Tuition reimbursement Professional development Company Overview New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp deals with banking, financial, advice, mutual fund and saving account services.
