Research & Outreach Assistant to Find Airbnb-Friendly Rental Properties
I am starting an Airbnb rental business and need a virtual assistant experienced in short-term rentals (STR), property research, and landlord outreach. Your main role will be to help me identify and secure properties that allow Airbnb or short-term rentals in Minneapolis, MN
Tasks include:
ā¢ Research available rental properties (apartments, condos, single-family homes) in my target area.
ā¢ Verify which properties allow short-term rentals (via listings, property manager websites, and direct outreach).
ā¢ Contact landlords/property managers to confirm Airbnb allowance.
ā¢ Record property details in a spreadsheet (rent price, location, amenities, lease terms, contact details, Airbnb policy).
ā¢ Compare potential Airbnb income (using tools like AirDNA or similar) vs. monthly rent to identify profitable options.
ā¢ Provide regular updates and recommendations.
Requirements:
ā¢ Experience in Airbnb, STR property sourcing, or property management.
ā¢ Strong communication skills (email and phone).
ā¢ Ability to work independently and provide accurate, detailed research.
ā¢ Bonus: Familiarity with Minneapolis rental market or US rental laws.
Budget:
Hourly ($5ā$8/hr depending on experience) or fixed-price for completed list of qualified properties.
