Position Position: Biology Expert Type: Hourly contractor Compensation: $80–$90/hour Location: Remote Duration: Friday 12/12 to Sunday 12/14 Commitment: 16 hours Role Responsibilities • Collaborate asynchronously with a team of experts in Biology. • Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability. • Work independently and asynchronously to contribute to AI innovation. • Ensure high-quality problem crafting to inform future AI model development. • Engage in a fully remote and asynchronous work environment. Qualifications • PhD in Biology from a top US university. • High attention to detail. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent proficiency in English. • Citizenship in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia. • Current residency in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia. Interview Process • Complete a short interview and questionnaire to assess domain expertise. • Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding time, including screening and onboarding videos. Compensation & Legal • Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor. • Paid out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
