Job description: Mathnasium of Temple City is currently hiring Math Instructors/Tutors
Are you exceptional at math and love teaching kids? Then, we are looking for you As a math instructor, you will work with children K-12 in a fun group setting at our center. We offer part-time jobs with flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn bonuses based on performance indicators. You will be paid during the training to be our certified instructor. Required Qualifications:
Exceptional math skills through Algebra I
Outstanding communication and multi-tasking skills
Excellent teamwork with strong leadership characteristics
Energetic, fun, and confident personality
Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
Must pass a Math employment test that covers elementary to Algebra 1 math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Well-versed to teach upper-level high school math courses (i.e: calculus)
Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students
Salary
Competitive salary + bonuses based on performance
This is a part-time position with advancement opportunities
Work Schedule:
Flexible. You can work on any days and hours listed below (at least 8-10 hours commitment per week):
M-F (2-7 PM) and Sat (9 AM- 1 PM)
Instruction session occurs in our safe commercial center. No in-home instruction session.
