Job description: Position Summary: RoadSafe is looking for an Instructional Designer to design and develop learning solutions and training programs for office and field personnel. The role is also responsible for supporting the learning management system, including ongoing maintenance, reporting, and end-user support. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities:

Develops and designs courses and curriculum.
Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards.
Develops instructor's manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools.
Collaborates with subject experts to develop course content.
Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content.
Trains instructors and employees in how to use learning technologies.
Keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
Writes scripts for video and audio content.
Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users.
Uploads, tests and updates new learning objects into the LMS catalog from multiple formats
Generates standard reports, as requested, and assists with data analysis
Assists with assigning and registering users for training courses
Maintains data integrity rules and processes for the LMS such as course descriptions, course changes, assignment of course categories and course maintenance
Supports new approaches and policies to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the company
Helps create, manage and enforce LMS system standards, policies and procedures
Position Requirements

Requirements:

Proficient in course development software tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Acrobat, Captivate. Snagit, Kahoot
Minimum 2 years of experience working with an LMS
Excellent recording keeping and high attention to detail
Ability to interact and follow up effectively with employees and management at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Instructional design, HR development and/or group facilitation


Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
