Renewable Energy - Project Engineer

SGC Engineering LLC is seeking a passionate and skilled Project Engineer to join their expanding utility consulting and renewable energy services team. In this role, you’ll lead high-voltage electrical projects, collaborating with major players in the energy industry to drive the shift toward a cleaner energy future. Responsibilities Perform engineering services related to Solar, Wind and Battery Storage projects Develop drawing packages for high and medium voltage applications Participate in preparing proposals for associated scope Field work and investigations as needed Review and understand client specific standards and requirements Prepare deliverables with the objective of delivering on-time and under-budget Communication with department manager and project team Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required (Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical) 0-3+ years of experience in an engineering consulting firm or other related work environment Successful passing of the FE exam is a plus Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required Must successfully complete drug screening and background check, including 7-year criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Record check Valid driver's license required Experience with electric utility or renewable energy projects preferred AutoCAD experience is a plus Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) with company match Paid time off Other valuable benefits to support your well-being and future Company Overview SGC Engineering, LLC (SGC) is a multidisciplinary engineering firm serving clients in the northeastern region of the United States and Eastern Canada.
