Renewable Energy Products Marketplace Consultant - Contract to Hire
We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Products Marketplace Consultant to support the commercialization, positioning, and market adoption of renewable energy products and solutions. The immediate task for selected candidate will be to promote the marketplace effectively, this role focuses on the product side of the clean energy value chain—including solar, storage, hybrid systems, energy management platforms, and related technologies—bridging technical capabilities with market demand. The consultant will help shape go-to-market strategies, evaluate distribution channels, and advise on pricing, partnerships, and customer adoption across commercial, industrial, and utility segments.Key Responsibilities • Analyze market demand, competitive positioning, and pricing for renewable energy products • Advise on product-market fit across C&I, utility, and emerging customer segments • Support go-to-market strategy, channel development, and partner selection • Evaluate product bundling, service models, and recurring revenue opportunities • Advise on regulatory, incentive, and interconnection considerations impacting product adoption • Support customer, distributor, and strategic partner engagement • Provide market intelligence to inform product roadmap and commercialization decisions Qualifications & Experience • 7+ years of experience in renewable energy products, energy technology, or clean energy consulting • Experience with solar modules, inverters, storage systems, energy software, or integrated solutions • Strong understanding of sales channels, distribution models, and pricing strategies • Familiarity with incentives, codes, and standards affecting renewable energy products • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills What We Offer • Flexible, remote consulting engagement • Opportunity to influence product strategy and market entry decisions • Exposure to innovative renewable energy technologies and platforms • Competitive consulting compensation based on experience and scope Apply tot his job
