Renewable Energy Legal Analyst with PPA/Contract Experience
ā¢ *Job Title: Renewable Energy Compliance Analyst**
ā¢ *Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled analyst with practical experience in renewable energy project documentation, such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and interconnection agreements, to help us extract and structure compliance obligations effectively.
In this role, you will leverage our advanced AI tool, ContractPower, to identify, extract, and input compliance information into our centralized compliance tracker, which spans across 120 energy projects.
ā¢ *Key Responsibilities:**
- Examine various renewable energy project documents, including:
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Interconnection agreements
- Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) / Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts
- Permits and project filings
- Utilize ContractPower to:
- Identify compliance requirements
- Extract crucial clauses and specifications
- Input organized data into our compliance tracking system
- Validate and enhance AI-generated outputs for precision
- Present findings with clear references (section, clause, page number)
ā¢ *Required Qualifications:**
- Proven experience with PPAs or contracts related to renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of the structure of renewable energy projects
- Capability to interpret legal and commercial agreements effectively
ā¢ *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Background in renewable energy project finance or development
- Experience in energy law or contract analysis
- Familiarity with solar, wind, storage, or grid-related projects
ā¢ *Essential Skills:**
- Exceptional contract interpretation abilities
- Proficient written English communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Competence in handling structured data and utilizing relevant tools
ā¢ *Output Expectations:**
- Creation of structured compliance logs
- Development of obligation tracking tables
- Thoroughly referenced clauses and compliance requirements
Templates and workflows will be provided to guide your work.
ā¢ *Test Assignment (Paid):**
Candidates who progress to the next stage will undertake a paid test using a sample PPA and the ContractPower workflow.
