The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue to and complete their postsecondary education. The Talent Search Coordinator's primary responsibility Involves planning, developing, implementing and evaluating program activities, counseling, tutoring and advising focused on students' successful graduation from high school and career readiness. The Talent Search Coordinator will work with students, program alumni, teachers, counselors, the school district, community stakeholders and parents, and will provide college advising and educational opportunities such as field trips and campus visits to students and parents in their partner school. In addition, the coordinator will conduct Summer enrichment activities in accordance with TRIO regulations. and has the responsibility to keep records of the numbers and demographics of students, teachers, and parents served in all of these efforts. This position will be working schools in the Antioch and Pittsburgh school districts. Must be available for some evening and weekend activities.
