[Remote/WFM] Oromo Interpreter and Document Translator

In recognition of your expertise, this position offers a salary of a competitive salary.   Job Description Oromo- English Interpreter/Translator is an independent contractor, work-from-home position. The Remote Interpreter/Translator would be responsible for servicing video interpretation and phone interpretation appointments on an as-needed basis. The contractor may also be asked to complete document translations, proofreading and/or formatting on an as-needed basis and may be asked to do language assessments of other Oromo speakers as well. A good understanding of Microsoft Word and PDF. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Video Interpretation: interpreting verbal Oromo verbal English via our online video interpretation system (previous interpretation experience preferred, however we will provide on-the-job training) - Phone Interpretation: interpreting verbal Oromo verbal English via contractor's personal phone (previous interpretation experience preferred, however we will provide on-the-job training) - Document Translation: translating English documents into written... Oromo via Lexikeet's online system (previous translation experience preferred, however we will provide on-the-job training) CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both the source and target languages.
