[Remote/WFM] Online Event Moderator

This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. The compensation for this role is benchmarked at a competitive salary. Â Â America Training Solutions (ATS) facilitates online and in-person events to deliver continuing-education courses to architects, designers, and LEED professionals.
ATS is hiring an online-event personality to prepare and moderate 22 one-hour webinars and 52 multi-course webcast programs a year. The average number of all-day events per month is six. Note that there will be no events for six weeks in the summer and five weeks in December/January. The moderator will create the PowerPoint presentation for each event and work with the presenters to collect supporting materials.
Preferred experience:
 Public speaking and on-camera connection with an online audience
 Operating video conferencing/webinar programs (we use GoToWebinar)
 Writing skills and PowerPoint-presentation creation
 Interest and/or experience with building products (preferred but not required)
Preferred skills:
 Creativity (seeking new ideas and technologies to keep audiences engaged and speakers presenting their... best)
 Multi-tasking (i.e. listening to the speaker while answering attendee chat questions)
 Superior attention to detail
 Customer-service focus (supporting the speakers and the audience members)
 Organization skills
Education: Bachelors Degree
The position is part-time and paid by the hour.
The event moderator will be required to work on the days of the pre-scheduled events (calendar of events to be provided). Each month has an average of six event days. The moderator will always have the support and coverage of another ATS employee who will also be logged into the event and will be immediately available by text.
The prep-schedule for each event will be up to the moderator (approximately 1-2 hours per event). Event preparation includes creating the event PowerPoint presentation, collecting supporting materials from the speakers, and adding poll questions to the event. The moderator will also perform Âtech checks with new speakers who are new to the webinar platform.
ATS will provide paid in-person training in all aspects of the position.
ATS is a small, close team. We each work independently, but we jump in to help each other when needed.

Pay: $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 Â 18 per week
