[Remote/WFM] Medical Transcriptionist - PRN

Â Â The Medical Transcriptionist will be responsible for:
Accurate and timely data entry of dictated and/or handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system
Identifying problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective action/accurate solutions
Researching, troubleshooting and follow-up to ensure all inquiries/problems are resolved in a timely manner
The schedule for this position is: PRN Monday through Friday with flexible hours throughout the day.
License/Certification/Education:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year experience in Medical Transcription preferred
Previous experience using foot pedal, audio software, and word processing software preferred
Knowledge of medical terms and medical language required
Knowledge of medical billing and codes preferred
Advanced spelling and grammar required.
