Responsibilities
• Transcribe dictated information to produce medical and clinical documents.

• Document SOAP notes and enter diagnoses, ICD 10 codes, and other relevant information.

• Pend prescriptions, lab orders, referrals, and imaging studies for provider approval.
,
• Input billing, E&M codes, and CPT codes for various medical conditions.
,
• Assist providers with non-medical inquiries and tasks as needed.
,
• Prompt providers with appropriate questions regarding patient care and orders.
Requirements
• High School Diploma / GED
,
• Must be 18 years or older
,
• Knowledge of medical terminology
,
• 1+ years experience as a medical transcriptionist
,
• Ability to work normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm EST, Monday - Friday.
Nice-to-haves
• Bilingual fluency in English / Spanish
