JOB DESCRIPTION: Position is based in Charlotte, NC, some teleworking may be permitted. Travel to Lowe's offices may be required.

Working and understanding the business requirements by liaising with concerned product owner and UX team to develop the new applications, also discussing the Technical and functional augmentation of existing application. Preparation of flow charts, conceptual diagrams, data structures, Application topology and other interfaces to applications and then conducting Peer to Peer reviews with the team. Working on Agile (SCRUM) Development Team to deliver updates to Business team and Product owner. Attending the daily Standups, Retrospective, Sprint Planning, Code Review and completed story points on JIRA board. Developing responsive web applications using latest JavaScript ES6 features and libraries such as React, and Redux to build dynamic web pages (React-router, JSX, Babel and React-bootstrap). Writing the unit testing scripts using JEST for testing the React components using Enzyme and react test renderer to improve the code quality and maintain the application health. Working on updating/manipulating data using CRUD operations of Couch DB and handle database access and data transmission based on RESTful web services. Utilizing Bit bucket and source tree for version control during development and maintenance. Creating the confluence documents for any structural or functional design changes and conducting the reviews with the team. Utilizing various IDE tools such as Visual Studio, Web Matrix, Eclipse, Sublime Text Editor, IntelliJ IDEA, Note Pad++, draw.io for developing the UI applications. Involving in Code Review of the team and providing the necessary review comments for the existing code. Deploying the applications in Dev environment using the build image and testing the application on the respective code change. Working with the team in understanding of the application and code by pair programming. Verifying the logs of the application health and status in GCP and Elk Stack driver. Coordinating with the teams of QA/User Acceptance testing (UAT), backend, Dev Ops, FR team and involve in tracking and bug fixing in the lower and stage environments and carried out Unit Testing for the developed functionalities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Bachelor's Degree* in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering or analysis. *Employer will accept single degree or combination of degrees, diplomas and/or professional experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

Must have prior experience in:

- 2 years of experience in:

- Front end technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS;

- Angular Js, Boot strap and CI/CD tools including Bitbucket and Jenkins;

- Version control tools including one or more of the following: GIT, GIT bash, Source tree, GIT Lab, Jira, Bit bucket;

- Relational databases including SQL, Mongo DB; and

- Agile software development.

- 1 year of experience in:

- Working on React, Redux, ES6, React-router, JSX, Babel and React-bootstrap;

- Building web applications using J2EE technologies and frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, RESTful and SOAP Web Services;

- Designing robust web applications under Amazon or Azure distributed/cloud-based environments; and

- Working on TDD or basic unit testing.
