Job Description:
 This position supports the Health Management Delivery Operations (HMDO) Prior Authorization team in performing the daily work associated with processing prior authorization requests.
 This includes processing of requests according to established and documented guidelines and within all contractual timeline requirements.
 Process to completion 100% of assigned work utilizing documented work instructions to meet daily minimum production expectations.
 Perform daily work according to established quality standards.
 Perform special project research as assigned.
 Interact professionally with PA staff to provide appropriate and timely responses.
 Respond to inquiries as assigned within specified due dates.
 Make recommendations to management to improve business processes and efficiency.
 Complete all assigned training, learning, and self-development in required timeframes.
