Key Responsibilities
 Teach English classes to students of different age groups and proficiency levels.
 Participate in the Madrid Lifestyle Work Orientation to prepare for your teaching role.
 Engage actively in weekly cultural and social activities to foster community among participants.
 Explore additional teaching opportunities, including private classes and assistant roles in local schools.
Required Skills
 A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and engage students.
 Strong communication skills in English.
 A readiness to learn Spanish and adapt to a new cultural environment.

Qualifications
 A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
 No prior teaching experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

 A one-year student visa that permits you to work 30 hours per week.
 Participation in a 20-hour-a-week Spanish language course, accredited by Instituto Cervantes, available in-person or online.
 Job placement with Canterbury English and access to the Garcia Lorca Spanish School Adventure Club activities, which include weekend cultural excursions and social events.
