About the role Senior Software Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise. Develops, coordinates and conducts complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems , makes recommendations on changes in the selection and application of software production components to management, implements major components, presents designs review, and coordinates with other organizations. Key Responsibilities: Professional experience in software development using C/C++ ·Experience in using scripting languages like Python, Shell etc ·A passion for Linux and open source ·Solid experience in using embedded Linux (Yocto/ OpenEmbedded or buildroot) ·Experience in using U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration and Device tree. ·Confident in the use of GNU (Cross-)Toolchain, (C)Make ·Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms like ARM series (NXP, TI) ·Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools: test-driven development, SCM (Git), automated builds and tests, CI/CD with Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS etc. ·Git expertise to ensure merges, rebasing, cherry picking etc Requirements Requires advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems to make enhancements within job area University Degree or equivalent A minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience OR An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience Benefits We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.
