[Remote/WFM] Counsel, Legal Affairs - Television Animation

The salary for this position is set at a competitive salary.   We are looking for a Counsel, Legal Affairs - Television Animation who will provide a broad range of legal services to support the Television Animation business at The Walt Disney Company. The ideal candidate should have experience in contract law, intellectual property law, and production legal affairs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the entertainment industry and has a... strong understanding of the Television Animation business. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and analytical skills, the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, and a commitment to providing superior customer service.Qualifications:• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school• Admitted to practice law in at least one US state• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing legal services• Experience in contract law, intellectual property law, and production legal affairs• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders• Commitment to providing superior customer service• Passion for the entertainment industry and a strong understanding of the Television Animation businessWe are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Counsel, Legal Affairs - Television Animation to join our team and help bring our stories to life. Responsibilities:

Provide a wide range of legal services to support the Television Animation business at The Walt Disney Company.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, licenses, and other legal documents.
Advise on intellectual property law, production legal affairs, and other legal issues.
Monitor and track legal compliance, providing guidance and advice as needed.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, production teams, and other departments.
Provide superior customer service with a commitment to excellence.
Remain up to date on relevant legal developments and industry trends.
Address and resolve any legal issues that arise in the course of business.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Maintain accurate records and documents of all legal proceedings.
