As an Entry-Level Computer Hardware Technician focusing on Enterprise Server Operations, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing enterprise server infrastructure. This position offers a thrilling opportunity for tech enthusiasts eager to delve into computer hardware, work with fiber optics, and excel in precise procedural tasks. Training will be provided in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Server Maintenance: Assist in setting up, installing, and maintaining enterprise-level servers.
• Fiber Optics Management: Handle installations and troubleshooting of fiber optic cabling within the server environment.
• Troubleshooting: Address basic technical issues, conduct diagnostics, and escalate problems when necessary.
• Procedural Adherence: Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Requirements:
• Hardware Proficiency: Basic understanding of computer hardware and a strong interest in computer hardware
• Fiber Optics Knowledge: Familiarity with or willingness to learn about fiber optic cabling in server environments.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow precise procedures and maintain accuracy in execution.
• Collaborative Mindset: Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach to work.
• Education/Certification: Relevant coursework, certifications, or a degree in Computer Science or related fields is advantageous. (IE, CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, Google IT Support Certification, etc)
