Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hrs. per week)
Caseload: Mild / Mod ASD and other spectrum disorders.
Class Size: Discuss in Interview
Location: Remote - Virtual

Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored academic instruction using evidence-based methods, such as multisensory learning techniques.
Design individualized education programs to meet the unique needs of each student.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and strategies.
Use positive reinforcement strategies to guide student behavior and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
Maintain comprehensive records to meet local and federal compliance standards.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curricula to support special education students.
Administer assessments to help diagnose learning disabilities and monitor academic progress.
Utilize a variety of instructional approaches to facilitate understanding of subject matter.
Qualifications:
Experience in a school environment is preferred but not required
Valid New Mexico state license
