[Remote] Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

The Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist will handle high-volume outbound calls to investigate and bill medical claims, ensuring maximized payments to clients. Responsibilities Make high-volume, outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims to insurance companies, on behalf of our clients (hospitals and medical providers) Investigating and resolving troubled and/or denied workers' compensation claims Submit the bills and proper documentation to the insurance company, or the appropriate payer, ensuring maximized payments to our clients (medical providers) Review the information/documentation provided by the payer in order to determine what to do next Participate in special projects in order to achieve goals and ensure client success Skills Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Possess technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously Can maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics Remain organized while multi-tasking Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find effective and efficient solutions Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Have experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing (a plus, but not required) Have an unnatural ability to put together a 1,000 piece puzzle in record time Take pride in solving the mystery on a TV crime show before the main character Benefits We offer paid training and incentive plans Our medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits are available from the first day of employment We enjoy excellent work/life balance Our Employee Resource Groups build community and foster a culture of belonging and inclusion We match 401(k) contributions We offer career growth opportunities We celebrate 12 paid holidays and generous paid time off Company Overview Revecore provides revenue optimization and root-cause analysis.
