[Remote] Workday - Senior Consultant, HCM (HCM / Benefits)

Avaap is seeking an experienced Workday HCM / Compensation / Benefits consultant to join their growing team as a Workday Senior Consultant. The role involves leading Workday implementations with a focus on HCM and Core Compensation modules, providing expert guidance to clients, and mentoring team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead Implementation Projects: Oversee and drive the end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM and Core Compensation solutions, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget
ā¢ Consult and Advise: Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices, system configuration, and optimization strategies specific to Workday HCM and Core Compensation
ā¢ Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with their organizational goals
ā¢ Team Leadership: Mentor and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
ā¢ Solution Design: Develop and document comprehensive solution designs, leveraging your deep knowledge of Workday HCM and Core Compensation functionalities
ā¢ Training and Support: Conduct client training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Workday solutions
ā¢ Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Workday updates and industry trends to continuously enhance our service offerings and maintain thought leadership in the field
Skills
ā¢ Must be Workday HCM and Benefits implementor certified (REQUIRED)
ā¢ Proven experience leading Workday HCM and Benefits implementations, with a strong understanding of system configuration, integration, and reporting
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage complex projects, and deliver exceptional client outcomes
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and address client needs effectively
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
ā¢ A strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
ā¢ Gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements
ā¢ Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations
ā¢ Expert-level knowledge and experience in HR practices and functions
ā¢ Academic studies or equivalent education/professional experience combination in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Information Systems or related field
ā¢ A detailed-driven problem solver, with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service
ā¢ Resourceful and adaptable; you'll be comfortable working remotely, utilizing a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
ā¢ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
ā¢ Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
ā¢ Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
ā¢ Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap's physical office locations
ā¢ Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
ā¢ Workday Comp experience preferred
ā¢ M&A experience strongly preferred
