[Remote] Web Developer (React/Angular|Responsive & Accessible Web Application)

They are seeking a Web Developer to design and develop responsive and accessible web applications that support a large-scale online education ecosystem, ensuring intuitive user experiences and reliable front-end functionality.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and develop modern websites and web applications using current front-end technologies
ā¢ Build responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces with strong attention to usability and performance
ā¢ Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices
ā¢ Collaborate with product, UX, and technical teams to implement features and enhancements
ā¢ Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and improve overall application stability
ā¢ Maintain clean, reusable, well-documented code following development standards
ā¢ Support integration with APIs and enterprise backend systems as needed
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of development practices
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
ā¢ 3+ years of experience designing and developing websites or web applications
ā¢ Strong understanding of modern web development principles and UI best practices
ā¢ Experience delivering responsive web applications across multiple devices and browsers
ā¢ Must be a U.S. Citizen
ā¢ Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance
ā¢ Must be currently residing in the United States
ā¢ Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC for in-person meetings
ā¢ Proficiency in HTML
ā¢ Proficiency in CSS
ā¢ Proficiency in JavaScript
ā¢ Experience with modern frameworks such as React
ā¢ Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular
ā¢ Experience implementing Accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508 awareness)
ā¢ Experience with Responsive design and mobile-first development practices
