Job Title: Remote Video News Reporter Platform: Talented Women Network (Talented Women Africa) Location: Remote (Lagos -based preferred) Commitment: Part-Time, Monthly Deliverables Compensation: Paid (details provided during interview) About Us: Talented Women Africa is a digital media platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of extraordinary women. We cover inspiring stories, impactful news, and powerful narratives centred around African women who are shaping their communities and beyond. Job Overview: We are looking for confident, camera-ready women with a passion for storytelling and journalism. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for someone who is comfortable reporting in front of the camera and crafting engaging news content from the comfort of their home. Responsibilities: Curate and research meaningful news stories, especially those centred around women’s issues, achievements, and progress. Write your own 2-minute news scripts with clarity and journalistic integrity. Record 4 self-shot video news reports monthly (approx. 2 minutes each). Record 4 audio voiceovers monthly (approx. 2 minutes each) in line with your scripts. Deliver all content promptly and meet monthly editorial deadlines. Uphold the values and tone of the Talented Women Network brand. Requirements: Comfortable and confident speaking on camera Clear, articulate voice and good diction Strong storytelling, research, and scriptwriting skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Access to a smartphone or camera with good video/audio quality Basic video/audio recording and editing skills are a plus Why Join Us?
