[Remote] UX Researcher – Must Reside In Charlotte, NC Area

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking a UX Researcher to join the Experience Design Research Team at LPL Financial. The role involves developing research plans, leading user research, and presenting findings to cross-functional teams to enhance user experience for financial advisors. Responsibilities • Develop research plans, workflows, user task analysis, personas, journey/experience maps, process flows, and service blueprints • Lead in user research through every stage of the product lifecycle; planning and running usability studies, analyzing data, conducting heuristic evaluations, facilitating and moderating workshops, and performing low to high fidelity usability tests • Present findings to cross-functional teams and negotiate trade-offs between business goals, technical challenges, and customer experience • Coordinate and take direction from the lead researcher to the assigned area of focus Skills • 3+ years of user experience research experience • Service blueprinting or process blueprinting experience • Experience with qualitative research • Skilled in moderated interviews, unmoderated usability tests, surveys (we use Qualtrics), and other foundational UX research methods • Manage end-to-end participant engagement—including scheduling, communication, and logistics—to align with research timelines and learning goals.• Advanced Excel skills to help with analysis and representation via pivot/charts • Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience • 3+ years of experience related to user experience research & analysis, ideally in complex or regulated industries. • 2 plus years of experience working on a project team and meeting project timelines while managing competing Priorities • Proven ability to navigate and manage complex, high-stakes business relationships with discretion and professionalism. • Communicates research insights in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.• Strong strategic thinking skills as well as tactical execution. • Excellent collaborative skills working with multi-disciplinary teams. • Able to hit the ground running, with the discernment to pause and ask the right questions to ensure strategic alignment • User experience research methods • Experience with tools such as User Testing, Jira, Confluence, and Figma • Experience working in agile / pod structure • Familiarity in financial services is a bonus • Experience cultivating strong cross-functional partnerships by aligning research objectives with business priorities.Benefits • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Company Overview • At TEKsystems, they understand people.
