[Remote] Urgent need Marketing Data Engineer (Analytics Engineer)

Our client, 3A Soft Inc, is seeking a Marketing Data Engineer to assist in the management of data tables and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize the Business Intelligence ecosystem.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Assist with the creation and ongoing management of data tables for use in various data applications
ā¢ Collaborate with IT partners to complete data table creation and management work
ā¢ Work with Analytics, IT, and Marketing stakeholders to build, optimize, scale, and manage the Business Intelligence ecosystem
ā¢ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency or vendor partners to ensure alignment with Marketing Analytics perspectives
ā¢ Champion a hybrid Service and Self-Service analytics model within Marketing and Communication
ā¢ Educate peers while building analytics solutions to support self-service capabilities
ā¢ Manage workspaces, data refresh processes, and dataflow creation
ā¢ Improve data processing efficiency including automation where possible
ā¢ Improve taxonomy, processes, and technical infrastructure that support organizational data work
ā¢ Ensure alignment with institutional standards and governance best practices
Skills
ā¢ Experience working with Databricks (as a data warehouse/lakehouse solution) and using dbt within it (to build pipelines and tables) is required
ā¢ Proficiency working with SQL, Github, and .yaml files is crucial
ā¢ Three (3) or more years of experience working in Analytics, Data Engineering, or a similar field
ā¢ Deep familiarity with SQL and various downstream data applications including business intelligence tools
ā¢ Ability to understand the context of data and apply it to inform business analysis
ā¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize sophisticated information and convey complex ideas in an accessible manner
ā¢ Intrapreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in deliverables and processes
ā¢ Experience working with Marketing data is preferred
ā¢ Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ā through messaging, documentation, and live speaking ā is critical
ā¢ Experience with PowerBI and its related ecosystem (Power Platform) is highly preferred
ā¢ Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI, Databricks, dbt
ā¢ Marketing experience
ā¢ Working knowledge of common marketing data types including web or mobile analytics such as Google Analytics and Heap
ā¢ Working knowledge of advertising analytics platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Meta, and The Trade Desk
ā¢ Working knowledge of phone tracking platforms such as Invoca
