We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team, responsible for managing transportation execution across our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, superb communication skills, and a passion for process improvement.
Job Description:
The NOC is the central command and control center for transportation execution, supporting multiple geographies and ensuring hassle-free, timely pick-up and delivery of freight. As a Transportation Specialist, you will:
Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to complex problems and have excellent project-management skills
Work with business and operations teams to solve customer escalations, analyze historic results, and initiate programs in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity
Improve visibility tools, methods, and processes to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to internal and external partners
Proactively initiate SOPs and process changes as required, demonstrating significant ownership of customer issues
Responsibilities Include:
Communication with internal customers (CS, MM, LM, FC, Trans Program, HR)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, mediation, and problem-resolution skills
Demonstrated leadership with a bias towards action, supporting a culture of ownership and learning
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
Experience with Excel
Experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
