[Remote] Threat and Vulnerability Analyst- Intern

They are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive individual for the role of Threat and Vulnerability Analyst Intern, where the intern will gain hands-on experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities while working closely with experienced security professionals. Responsibilities • Collaboration with risk management to enhance vulnerability and threat data involved in risk evaluations • Defining processes that can be maintained to increase transparency and efficiency between vulnerability, threat, and risk data • Assisting with communication plans, policy updates, tool enhancements, etc • Conduct threat in-depth research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors and analyze threat intelligence data to identify relevant threats to the organization and assess their potential impact • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial threat intelligence platforms, and intelligence sharing partnerships • Track and document threat actor activity and campaigns Skills • Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn about threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and vendor risk management • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Rising BA/BS in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Computer Science • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including networking, operating systems, and common security threats Benefits • 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan with company matching for 21 and over • Eligible for pay on SailPoint observed holidays during your tenure • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Care Counselors Company Overview • SailPoint is an identity and access management provider helping organizations deliver and manage user access from any device.
